The ALPHA Course

What is it?

Alpha is a ten-week opportunity to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith for our lives today. It is a practical introduction to the basics of Christianity with loads of opportunity for debate and discussion. The style of Alpha is informal, friendly and non-pressured.

Alpha is enjoyed and appreciated as much by those who have never set foot in a church as it is by those who once attended and by the regular churchgoer. No matter what their background, whether investigating Christianity for the first time or revisiting their faith, participants get a lot out of an Alpha Course.

Each week people meet together for a meal, a talk on topics such as "Who is Jesus?", "Why Did Jesus Die?", "How Can I be Sure of My Faith?", and "Does God Still Heal Today?" , followed by small group interaction. There is a day or weekend retreat midway through the course, which focuses on the person and work of the Holy Spirit.

Alpha starts Wednesday, October 5th
Daytime Alpha Course

Wednesday mornings @ 9:30 a.m.
Breakfast available before or lunch after the class (you buy!)
Alpha ends promptly @ 11:30 a.m.

(Childcare is NOT Provided - Restaurant provides room & service, you buy your meal)

Our Daytime ALPHA will have a video and discussion from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. - A meal is encouraged since we are meeting at The Egg & I, 6890 S. Univ. Blvd, Centennial, CO., so come early or stay late to eat.

Alpha Is For :

A nyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. Adults of all ages are welcome.
L earning and laughter. It is possible to learn about the Christian faith and have fun at the same time!
P eople meeting together. An opportunity to get to know others and make new friends.
H elping one another. The small groups give you a chance to discuss issues raised during the talks.
A sk anything. Alpha is a place where no question is seen as hostile or too simple.
